SEARCHING FOR 1 MILLION DEDICATED DADS

African American Fathers play a significant role in their daughter's life. Their role is all to often under-appreciated, undervalued, dismissed, and misunderstood. The D.A.D. Network and Johnson & Johnson Consulting-CFLS are searching for 1 Million Dads who will show their pride and dedication to their daughters by adding their name to our Dedicated Dads Zone on the Father-Daughter Institute website or "like" the Father-Daughter Institute Facebook Page or our by joining our D.A.D. Linkedin Group Page.

We believe the existence and continuation of this destructive cultural norm; harming the psychosocial development of daughters, is fueled by lack of information and training. Many fathers struggle to connect and remain connected with their daughters from birth, throughout her teen years and beyond. Still others aren't sure how to adjust their relationship with their daughters as they grow and develop into womanhood.

Equally as important, is the fact that many mothers don't understand the significant role they play in the development of  their daughters healthy male/female relationships.
Driven by our passion to bond the hearts and strengthen the relationships of fathers and daughters all ages across the U.S. we are working diligently to offer uniquely designed skills-building, interactive, informational workshops to fathers, daughters and families. The current structure of the workshops offered are "fathers only", mothers of daughters only" and "father/daughter dyads". However, we will design a workshop to fit the needs of your audience. For more information or to schedule a workshop at your agency, center, church, school or event email: info@1karenjohnson.com or dial 708-474-4791.

Thank you in behalf of the millions of loving daughters across this country.
